Feria de Nerja 2026
Nerja's patron fair brings flamenco, casetas and seafront celebration to the eastern Costa del Sol each October.
Nerja holds its annual feria in October, a relaxed end-of-season fair in one of the prettiest towns on the eastern Costa del Sol. Expect the familiar Andalusian mix — casetas with food and fino, flamenco and sevillanas, a fairground for families and a fireworks night — set against the town's whitewashed streets and famous Balcón de Europa sea views.
What to expect. A friendly, mostly-local feria in pleasant autumn weather, with the summer crowds long gone. Dates follow the traditional October pattern, so confirm the year's programme with the town hall before planning around it.
Practical bit. Nerja sits at the far eastern edge of Málaga province, about an hour from the airport and thin on late public transport. A hire car makes the feria easy to reach and lets you fold in the Cuevas de Nerja, the Frigiliana white village and the Maro cliffs while you're there.
