The Rambla Los Menceyes runs along Candelaria's seafront, and for these few summer months it doubles as an open-air gallery. The urban art goes up along the promenade itself, so there's no ticket, no queue and nothing to read up on first — you just walk it and stop where something catches your eye. It works best as part of a longer amble rather than a destination in its own right.
Time it with a morning by the water. The big basilica is a short stroll along the front, and the dark volcanic sand of the town beach is right there too. Bring a coffee, take your time, and let the art punctuate the walk between the church and the sea. It's the sort of low-key thing that rewards a slow pace and an unhurried afternoon.
