What's on in Cabrera de Mar
Cabrera de Mar is a small, leafy town set just back from the coast on the Maresme, between Barcelona and Mataró. It sits in a valley of vineyards and market gardens rather than on the seafront itself, with an Iberian and Roman archaeological site on the hillside that marks it as one of the oldest settled spots on this coast. Quieter and more residential than its beach-resort neighbours, it keeps a village feel within easy reach of the city.
The summer Festa Major de Sant Feliu is the town's main celebration, and there's a playful Festival of the Witches drawing on local folklore. The Mas Pujol summer concerts bring music to a country estate over the season. Here's what's on while you're here.
