What's on in Cadiz
Cádiz is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, an ancient port on a thin spit of land almost surrounded by the Atlantic on the Costa de la Luz. The old town is a dense, salt-worn maze of narrow streets, watchtowers and squares, with city beaches at the end and a golden cathedral dome over the rooftops. It's a proper Andalusian city, full of flamenco and good-humoured local life.
Music fills the calendar: free open-air concerts in Parque Genovés, the Música del Mar festival, the Flamenca XXL festival, and gigs from local heroes. Here's what's on while you're here.
