What's on in Dénia

Dénia is a working port town at the northern end of the Costa Blanca, with a busy fishing harbour, the daily fish auction, and a Mediterranean ferry link out to Ibiza and Mallorca. A ruined castle looks down over the old streets, and the long beaches and rocky coves of Les Rotes spread out either side. The marina and the Marqués de Campo promenade keep it lively without losing the feel of a real Valencian town.

Summer is the season here. The Moros y Cristianos parades fill the streets in costume, the Fiestas de la Santíssima Sang bring the town's main celebrations, and Música al Castell stages concerts up in the fortress on warm evenings, with guided tours of the Portal dels Socors running alongside. Here's what's on while you're in town.
