What's on in els Poblets

Els Poblets is a small town on the northern Costa Blanca between Dénia and the Marina Alta, where the Girona river reaches the sea. It's a low-rise, residential place — orange and citrus groves inland, a quiet stretch of beach at the coast and a sizeable community of Northern-European residents — sitting just back from the busier resorts of Dénia and Oliva. Easygoing and unshowy, it's more a place to live and unwind than a tourist magnet.
