What's on in Es Pujols

Es Pujols is Formentera's only real resort, a small, low-rise huddle of bars, terraces and dive shops above a pair of white-sand beaches on the island's north-east corner. By Balearic standards it's tiny and relaxed — Formentera has no airport and no big nightclubs, so the pace stays gentle, and the resort makes an easy base for cycling out to the salt pans and the long beach at Ses Illetes.

Evenings are when it comes alive: the World Music Nights at Plaça d'Europa bring free open-air concerts to the square, and the Es Pujols Night Market sets out stalls of jewellery, leather and crafts along the seafront once the sun drops. Here's what's on while you're here.
