What's on in Mont-ras

Mont-ras is a small inland village on the Costa Brava, just back from Palamós and Calonge among cork-oak woods and fields. It has long been associated with the cork trade that built much of this stretch of Catalonia, and stays a quiet, low-rise farming community a short drive from the busier coast — a place that gets on with its own life.
