What's on in Ronda

Ronda is one of the most dramatic towns in Andalusia, an inland day-trip favourite high in the mountains above the Costa del Sol. It straddles a deep gorge, the Tajo, split by the great 18th-century Puente Nuevo bridge that drops away beneath your feet, with the old Moorish town on one side and a handsome later quarter on the other. It also claims one of Spain's oldest bullrings and a serious wine-country setting all around.

Its famous date is the September Feria de Pedro Romero, capped by the Corrida Goyesca, a bullfight where everyone dresses in the costumes of Goya's era. Here's what's on while you're here.
