What's on in Villa de Mazo

Villa de Mazo spreads across the gentle south-east slopes of La Palma, a green municipality of small hamlets, vineyards and craft workshops above the airport and the coast. It's best known on the island for its pottery, its embroidery and its remarkable Corpus Christi carpets of flowers and seeds. There's no resort here — just rural Palma, with trails through the laurel and pine and the Cumbre Vieja ridge rising behind.
