Twice a week the lanes along the Camí de Ronda fill up with around forty stalls, and the medieval walls make a fine backdrop while you browse. Don't come expecting a food market, though. This is mostly clothing, leather bags, shoes, jewellery and handicrafts, with the usual run of souvenir stands mixed in. Plenty of it is aimed squarely at holidaymakers, but there's decent leatherwork if you take your time and haggle a little.
Trading runs through the morning until lunchtime, and Sunday pulls the bigger crowds, so Tuesday is the calmer bet if you'd rather poke about in peace. Get there before eleven for the best pickings. Bring cash too, as most sellers won't take a card, and the surrounding streets are worth a wander once you've had your fill of stalls.
