III Toca Solete Festival
A summer-welcome festival at the marina with live music and DJ sets, food trucks, an artisan market and children's activities, closing on Saturday evening with the tribute band Destrangis. Open-air, free to attend and friendly for all ages.
The Sant Roc penya runs this one down on the dry dock at l'Hospitalet's marina, with the boats and the sea right there beside you. Both evenings kick off around 7pm: a relaxed tardeo on the Friday with DJs and live sets, games for the little ones, and food trucks doing the rounds while you wander the artisan stalls selling clothes, jewellery, crafts and bits to nibble.
Saturday builds to the closing party, headlined by Destrangis, an Estopa tribute band. If you don't know Estopa, they're the Catalan rumba-pop brothers half of Spain can sing along to, so expect a fair few locals belting out the choruses. It's free, it's easy-going and nobody minds if you turn up with kids in tow. A gentle way to ease into the summer season.
