FIMEL 2026 - Meliana Fair (27th Edition)
Meliana's flagship annual fair, where local commerce, agriculture and gastronomy come together over three days. Expect produce stalls and agricultural demonstrations, food stands, workshops, live music and family activities.
For three days each October, Meliana turns its town centre over to the things it makes and grows. FIMEL is part farmers' market, part trade fair: stands run by local growers, co-ops and small businesses, where you can actually talk to the people behind the produce rather than just buy it off a shelf. Expect crates of fruit and veg from the surrounding huerta, food stalls to graze your way through, and agricultural demonstrations that explain how it all works.
It's a low-key, family-friendly affair rather than a big spectacle. There are hands-on workshops, music through the day and activities aimed at younger ones, so it suits an unhurried wander. Entry is free, the pace is gentle, and it's a genuine slice of small-town Valencian life just north of the city. Worth a detour if you happen to be nearby.
