Los Pozos beach turns into one big open-air sports ground for the day, with more than 1,500 athletes taking part in competitions and exhibitions along the sand. You don't need a ticket or any plan, you just turn up and watch. There are children's activities and entertainment dotted about too, so it works well if you've got little ones in tow and want somewhere easy to drift around for a few hours.
The name nods to the sun-to-moon theme, and the day comes with a full cultural and musical programme for all ages, so there's more going on than the sport alone. It's a local fixture in Puerto del Rosario, free, and squarely aimed at families and passers-by rather than serious competitors. Bring water, sun cover and a relaxed attitude. The 21st edition lands on Saturday 20 June 2026.
