Haría Artisan Market (Mercado Artesanal de Haría)
A long-running weekly craft and produce market set in the leafy main square of Haría, one of the prettiest villages in northern Lanzarote. Stalls sell local handicrafts, jewellery, embroidery, aloe vera products, Canarian cheeses, wines, mojo sauces and fresh fruit and veg, with cafe terraces all around the plaza. The market celebrated its 25th anniversary in June 2026.
Haría is one of the greener corners of Lanzarote, and the weekly market spreads out under the trees of Plaza León y Castillo every Saturday morning. It runs from around 9am to half past two, so there's no need for a dawn start. Wander the stalls and you'll find local handicrafts, embroidery and jewellery alongside the edible stuff: Canarian cheeses, island wines, jars of mojo, aloe vera lotions and whatever fruit and veg is in season.
The cafe terraces ringing the square are half the appeal. Grab a coffee, watch the comings and goings, then carry on browsing. It's a proper village affair rather than a tourist circus, and it has been going long enough to mark its 25th birthday in 2026. Entry is free, and it's worth pairing with a slow lunch in the village afterwards.
