Festival de Pollença 2026
One of Spain's oldest classical-music festivals, staged under the stars in a 17th-century cloister.
Running since 1962, the Festival de Pollença is one of the most distinguished classical-music events on the Spanish calendar, and its setting is unforgettable: the open-air cloister of the 17th-century Convent de Sant Domingo, where chamber orchestras, soloists and recitals fill warm Mallorcan nights through July and August. It has drawn major international musicians for more than six decades.
What to expect. An intimate, atmospheric programme of mostly classical and chamber concerts rather than a big-stage festival. Exact dates and the line-up are published each spring; treat the summer-long window here as a guide and check the official programme.
Practical bit. Pollença, in Mallorca's beautiful north, is a fair drive from Palma and its airport, and concerts finish late. A hire car makes the evening — and the surrounding Tramuntana mountains, the Calvari steps and the beaches at Cala Sant Vicenç — far easier to enjoy at your own pace.
