Arona Rock Fest Tenerife 2026

El Fraile isn't the part of Arona most holidaymakers stumble into, which is rather the point. This is a local council do, run by the town's cultural board, and on the last Saturday of June it hands a street stage over to a run of rock and metal bands who play one after another into the night. Music kicks off around nine, once the heat has dropped off and the neighbourhood drifts out to listen.

Don't expect a slick festival site or a printed line-up weeks ahead; the bills tend to firm up closer to the date. What you get instead is loud guitars, a crowd that actually knows the words, and the easy feel of a town throwing its own party. It's free, though the space is small, so turn up in good time if you want to be near the front.
