Buenavista Diversa 2026 (Diversity & Culture Festival)
A free three-day open-air festival in the heart of this quiet northern village, celebrating inclusion and local life with live music, a community fair, workshops and DJ sets in the Plaza de los Remedios. Easy to drop into for an authentic small-town atmosphere away from the resort crowds.
Buenavista del Norte sits at the far quiet end of Tenerife, well clear of the southern resorts, and for three days each June its main square gives itself over to this free festival of diversity and small-town life. The Plaza de los Remedios fills with live bands, a community fair and a string of workshops, and once the sun drops the DJ sets keep the locals out late.
It's an easy, low-key thing to wander into. No tickets, no fuss, just neighbours, families and whoever else turns up, set against the old church and the green hills behind the town. Come for the music and the open-air feel, stay for the chance to see how a real Canarian village spends its summer weekend rather than how a brochure imagines it. Bring a bit of patience for the Spanish-only programme.
