What's on in Cabanes

Cabanes is a quiet inland village on the Costa del Azahar in Castellón province, set on a plain below the Desert de les Palmes hills, with a Roman triumphal arch nearby and its small beach district of La Ribera de Cabanes down on the coast. The coastline here keeps a wild, undeveloped feel — low dunes, lagoons and the protected Prat de Cabanes wetland behind the shore. Inland it's farming country, far from any resort.
