What's on in Gandia

Gandia is a proper Valencian town with two sides: the historic centre inland, tied to the Borgia dukes and their grand ducal palace, and Gandia Beach a few kilometres out — a long, wide stretch of sand that fills with Valencian families through summer. It's a real, lived-in place rather than a purpose-built resort.

The standout is the Night of Sant Joan on Gandia Beach, when bonfires line the sand for the shortest night of the year. Through summer the open-air Marquesa Concerts fill the gardens of the Casa de la Marquesa, and the Basket Summer Cup brings youth and amateur teams to town. Here's what's on while you're here.
