What's on in La Oliva

La Oliva is a spread-out municipality across the dry, wind-scoured north of Fuerteventura, taking in the old village itself — with its Casa de los Coroneles, the historic colonels' house — and the surf and beach settlements of Corralejo and El Cotillo. It's a landscape of volcanic cones, sand dunes and big skies, more about long empty beaches than nightlife.

In the village, the Traditions Market sets out local crafts, cheese and produce, keeping the older Majorero ways visible, while the La Oliva summer camps fill the holidays for younger visitors. Here's what's on while you're here.
