What's on in La Selva de Mar
La Selva de Mar is a tiny stone village tucked into the hills behind Port de la Selva, on the rugged Cap de Creus headland of the Costa Brava. Despite the name it sits just inland, a cluster of slate houses around a medieval church, with vineyards and olive terraces climbing the slopes. It's about as quiet as the Costa Brava gets.
The events here are small and arty, in keeping with the place. The Fira de l'Artesania gathers local makers, the SelvaTast weekend pairs the area's wine and food with art, and a Summer Classics chamber concert brings live music to the old village. Here's what's on while you're here.
