What's on in Miramar

Miramar is a small town on the Costa de Valencia just south of Gandia, with its older centre set back from a long, low-key beach lined with low-rise housing. It's a quiet, family-orientated spot popular with Valencian holidaymakers, more about the sand and the sea than any big resort scene.

The summer here is simple and seasonal. The Nit de Sant Joan on Miramar Beach is the highlight, with bonfires on the sand for the shortest night of the year, while the Fira de Sant Andreu brings a gastronomic fair to the town.
