What's on in Mogán

Mogán covers the sunny south-west of Gran Canaria, where the resort coast of Puerto de Mogán and Arguineguín gives way to dry mountain valleys behind. Puerto de Mogán is the pretty bit — a small marina laced with canals, sometimes called the island's "little Venice" — while the old town sits inland and grows mangoes and avocados on the slopes.

Markets are the everyday draw: the Arguineguín Tuesday street market and the big Friday mercadillo at Puerto de Mogán. The town also throws a summer Mango & Avocado Fair and the patronal Fiestas of San Antonio El Grande. Here's what's on while you're here.
