What's on in Pájara
Pájara is a vast, thinly populated municipality covering much of southern Fuerteventura, from the old inland village of Pájara with its fine 17th-century church down to the great dune beaches of the Jandía peninsula and the resort of Morro Jable. It's a land of empty horizons, goat country and some of the finest beaches in the Canaries, where most visitors stay on the coast while the interior stays wild and quiet.
Midsummer brings the Noche de San Juan, with beach bonfires and concerts marking the shortest night. Here's what's on while you're here.
