What's on in San Andrés y Sauces

San Andrés y Sauces is a small, green municipality on the lush north-east coast of La Palma, where the laurel forest of Los Tilos comes right down towards the sea. It's a quiet farming area of banana plantations and old water channels, with the tiny fishing hamlet of San Andrés and one of the island's best walks up into the forest.

Its events keep things local and Canarian. The Canary Islands Day festival brings a night of folk music, the Feria Insular de Artesanía gathers craftspeople from across the island, and Tiendeando'26 turns the streets into a shopping fair. Here's what's on while you're here.
