What's on in San Pedro del Pinatar

San Pedro del Pinatar sits at the northern tip of the Mar Menor on Murcia's Costa Cálida, best known for its salt pans and the open-air mud baths where people come to coat themselves in the dark, mineral-rich mud. It's a low-key place of fishing harbour, salt flats and shallow, warm lagoon water, popular with Spanish families and visitors after the famous mud cure.

The sailing comes out for the Paraíso Salado ORC trophy on the Mar Menor, while the town's patron-saint festival in honour of San Pedro brings the summer's main run of processions and street celebration. Here's what's on while you're here.
