What's on in Sant Pere Pescador
Sant Pere Pescador is a quiet village on the flat Empordà plain at the northern end of the Costa Brava, set just back from a long, wide beach where the Fluvià river meets the sea. It's apple-orchard and campsite country — a windsurfing and kitesurfing favourite thanks to the steady tramuntana — and far calmer than the resort towns to the south.
The village comes together for its summer town festival, the Festa Major, with its run of concerts and street celebration, while the Saint John's Eve midsummer night brings bonfires and a late, lively start to the season. Here's what's on while you're here.
