What's on in Xeraco
Xeraco is a small Valencian town just south of Gandia, split between the old village a little inland and a low-key beach strip of apartments and a long sandy shore backed by the Marjal wetlands. It's a quiet, mostly Spanish family-holiday spot — rice fields, orange groves and a wide flat beach rather than nightlife.
Midsummer is the highlight, with bonfires for the Nit de Sant Joan down on Xeraco beach, while the FIESCREM fair celebrates the local breakfast ritual of cremaet, a coffee laced with rum and brandy. Here's what's on while you're here.
