There's a particular pleasure in climbing up to Dénia's castle after dark, once the day's heat has let go, and settling in for a concert with the floodlit walls rising around you. Now in its 34th year, the 2026 programme leans into a mix of old and new: La María folding electronics into fandango, Murcian group Maestro Espada pairing analogue synths with castanets and lutes, flamenco singer Mayte Martín on her Tatuajes tour, and Galician folk band Luar na Lubre marking forty years together.
Shows start late, at 23:00 from 22 to 25 July, so come fed and in no hurry. The series bows out on 26 July down in Plaza del Consell with Colla El Trapig's "Pas al Trapig", an open-air piece weaving together live music, theatre and dance.
