9th San Fulgencio Tapas Route
A weekend tapas crawl where local bars and restaurants each serve a signature tapa plus a drink for 3.50 EUR, and you collect stamps on a 'tapaporte' to enter prize draws. A relaxed, low-barrier way to eat your way around San Fulgencio and the La Marina urbanisation. The 2026 edition is over (11-12 April); flagged as a recurring annual event for the next spring edition.
Here's the deal: each participating bar and restaurant cooks up one signature tapa, pairs it with a drink, and charges 3.50 EUR for the pair. You pick up a "tapaporte", wander from one place to the next, and collect a stamp at every stop. Fill the card and you're in the running for the prize draws. It's a simple format, but it works, and it gives you a proper excuse to poke your head into the local spots around San Fulgencio and the La Marina urbanisation rather than the same two terraces you always end up at.
Pacing matters. Spread it over the weekend, go easy, and chat to the people behind the bar about what they've made. The 2026 round ran over a weekend in April and has wrapped up, but it comes back each spring, so it's worth pencilling in for next year.
