Flamenco Under the Stars
An open-air flamenco performance staged on a summer evening in Begur, with live guitar, song and dance under the night sky. Just turn up and enjoy: no Spanish needed to appreciate the music and movement.
On the evening of 10 July, Begur stages flamenco outdoors, after dark, once the worst of the July heat has eased off. The show starts late, at half past nine, which leaves plenty of time for a long dinner in town first and an unhurried walk over as the sky goes properly black.
Flamenco needs no translation: guitar, song and the stamp and clap of the dance carry an evening on their own, and you won't need a word of Spanish to follow any of it. This one isn't free, so it's worth checking the town's agenda page for ticket details and the exact spot before you set off, as the venue is still to be confirmed.
