Festa Petita de Colera (Little Festival)
Colera's small spring village fiesta with a community lunch and afternoon children's dancing on day one, followed by a midday musical aperitif with Les Ganses and an evening party on day two. A relaxed, low-key local celebration; the 2026 edition has passed and it returns around the same dates in 2027.
This is about as small-scale and unfussy as a Spanish fiesta gets, which is rather the point. Each spring the village of Colera, right up near the French border, throws a little weekend party for itself, and visitors are welcome to wander in. The first day centres on a communal lunch in the village square at two o'clock, with afternoon games and dancing laid on for the children. You'll need to grab lunch tickets ahead from the town hall, as places are limited.
Day two is the livelier half. Around midday there's a musical aperitivo with the local band Les Ganses, the sort of pre-lunch drink-and-listen that drifts on longer than planned, and the evening winds up with a DJ session and a bit of a knees-up. No grand spectacle here, just amateur performers, neighbours catching up, and a genuinely local feel.
