L'Estartit Beatles Weekend - Rainbow Edition
A four-day Beatles-themed festival across L'Estartit with tribute concerts (Rubber Soul, The Flaming Shakers), DJ sets, vinyl talks, wine tastings, family Lego sessions and exhibitions. Music-driven and easy for non-Spanish speakers to enjoy.
For four days in July, this seaside town hands itself over to the Fab Four. The big concert is Rubber Soul's "Back to Abbey Road" on the Saturday night, but the bill runs deeper: a McCartney and Lennon tribute to open the Thursday, The Flaming Shakers on Friday, and the Ambdós "Two of Us" duo closing things out on Sunday. DJ Quetti keeps the Plaça del Molinet going late on both Friday and Saturday, and there's a vinyl talk for the record obsessives.
It's a relaxed, family-leaning affair too. Saturday morning brings an Abbey Road photo line-up in Sergeant Pepper jackets, Lego games and storytelling for the kids, then a Sunday wine tasting pairing Empordà bottles with acoustic Beatles. Exhibitions of memorabilia are dotted about. The language barrier barely matters when the soundtrack is one everyone already knows.
