III Blues Meeting
A small annual blues gathering with live music on a summer evening, an easy and atmospheric night out for music lovers of any language. The 3rd edition took place on 6 June 2026; a 4th edition is expected around the same time in 2027.
Caldes d'Estrac, or Caldetes as the locals call it, is one of those small seaside towns on the Costa de Barcelona that you'd happily stumble into by accident. Once a year it puts on a low-key blues evening, and the third edition rolled around in June 2026 with the music starting at a quarter to nine, once the heat has dropped and the light goes soft.
It's a modest affair, which is rather the point. You turn up, grab a drink, and let a few hours of guitar and gravelly vocals carry the evening along. No need to follow the words, and no fuss about it either. If you're staying nearby in summer, it's an easy way to spend a warm night out, and the same thing should come round again around June 2027.
