What's on in Caldes d'Estrac
Caldes d'Estrac, often called Caldetes, is a small spa town on the Maresme coast north of Barcelona, named for the thermal springs that once made it a genteel seaside resort. It's compact and a little old-fashioned in the best way — a short seafront, a railway station by the beach, and the Palau Foundation gardens and art collection above the town.
For its size the cultural calendar punches well above its weight: the Festa Major town festival, a long-running blues meeting, the Poesia i + poetry festival and art exhibitions. Here's what's on while you're here.
