For a few days each June, Vilanova i la Geltru hands its main avenue over to wine. The Rambla Principal fills with stalls from more than twenty Catalan wineries, the DO names you'll recognise once you've spent a bit of time on this coast, plus food stands and a stage with live music drifting down the street. You buy a tasting glass and a few tokens, then wander and sip your way along.
The fair's nicest twist is the tastings held aboard a sailboat down at the harbour, glass in hand with the water moving under you. Restaurants around town join in with their own pairings, so it spills well beyond the Rambla. It runs annually in June, with the next edition due in 2027. Kids aren't left out either, with a wine-themed corner of their own.
