Parque de San Antonio is the base for two days of free Pride in Cullera, and it leans as much on community as on the party. Friday opens gently with an exhibition and a panel of LGBTQ+ voices, then a tapas crawl, the Rutapa, sends you round local bars before the music kicks off around half nine. Yurena headlines, with drag turns from the likes of Kelly Roller and Alexia TheNight and DJ sets running until the small hours.
Saturday belongs to the march, which sets off from the Jardines del Mercado in the early evening and winds back to the park for speeches and a stalls fair run by local associations. Nebulossa close things out, with more drag and a DJ to finish. Eighteen acts in all, nothing to pay, and a friendly seaside crowd. It comes round each June.
