Tardeo Llosero (May Day Street Party)
A lively all-day village street party on May Day: a midday musical aperitif, a giant popular paella cooked by Chef Correa, an afternoon live music face-off between the Montecarlo and La Tribu orchestras, and a late DJ set. The 2026 edition has passed; expect the next one around 1 May 2027.
This is the sort of small-village do that the package crowd never finds. La Llosa puts on a full day of it on May Day, run by the locals themselves, and the whole thing spills out across the town centre. It opens at noon with a musical vermouth to ease you in, then around quarter past two Chef Correa serves up a huge communal paella for everyone (you pay for that bit; the day itself is free).
The afternoon is when it really gets going. From five o'clock two orchestras, Montecarlo and La Tribu, go head to head, trading songs back and forth until late, before DJ Dany BPM takes over and keeps things running to around eleven. It's loud, friendly and properly Spanish. The 2026 edition has been and gone, so pencil in roughly 1 May next year.
