Málaga Pride 2026 (Orgullo)
Málaga's annual Pride week, with film screenings, theatre and talks across the centre, culminating in the Pride march on 27 June from Plaza de la Constitución to Plaza de la Merced, where the night ends with drag shows and live music. All activities are free.
Most of Pride week happens indoors and quietly, which is part of the charm. Evenings at the Cine Albéniz bring queer cinema at seven, from Carol to 20,000 Species of Bees, and there's a play at the Teatro Echegaray and a talk or two with actors and writers. None of it costs a thing. The city hall flies the flag and lights its facade in Pride colours from the 26th.
The big day is the 27th. The march sets off from Plaza de la Constitución around seven and winds through the old centre to Plaza de la Merced. Once everyone arrives and a statement has been read, the square turns into a party, with drag acts, live singers and a DJ keeping it going into the night. Turn up early if you want a decent spot.
