Tazacorte Summer Fest
An open-air food-and-music festival on the seafront promenade of the black-sand port beach of Tazacorte, blending local Canarian flavours with live concerts from the afternoon into the night. The 2026 line-up was not yet announced at time of writing.
Tazacorte sits at the bottom of one of La Palma's steepest descents, where the road drops down to a working port and a beach of warm black volcanic sand. Each August the seafront promenade turns into one long open-air party, with the music kicking off around four in the afternoon and rolling on well past dark. It's an outdoor crowd-pleaser, so come early if you want a good spot near the stage.
The bill leans Latin and local: past years have pulled in acts from Cuba and Argentina alongside Canarian performers. Between songs you eat your way along the paseo, plate of island food in one hand, the Atlantic a few steps away. The 2026 line-up was still under wraps last we checked, but the date is fixed for 29 August.
