What's on in Alcúdia
Alcúdia sits in Mallorca's north and splits in two: a walled medieval old town, its honey-coloured ramparts still circling the centre, and Port d'Alcúdia a couple of miles on, with a long sandy bay and a family resort strip. There's a Roman theatre on the edge of the old town and a wetland nature reserve nearby.
The old town's twice-weekly market is the everyday draw, set inside the walls. The fiesta calendar peaks with Festes de Sant Pere and Festes de Sant Jaume, the town's patron-saint celebrations. Here's what's on while you're here.
