Sant Joan Festival Opening (Pregó) with Band Concerts

A pregó is the speech that formally opens a Spanish town fiesta, and this one sets Santanyí's biggest week of the year in motion. Locals gather on Plaça Nova as the evening cools, Antònia Adrover Vadell delivers the opening address from the square, and the festival is declared underway. It's a civic moment more than a spectacle, but the warmth of a small town turning out together is the whole point.
