María Terremoto, born in Jerez in 1999, is the daughter and granddaughter of two of the form's great cantaores, and she carries that lineage without being weighed down by it. The night at Maó's Teatre Principal is built around her 2025 album Manifiesto, and the record is shaped like a journey: it opens in the raw root of a romance and builds towards bulerías, the celebratory style that tends to lift a room off its seats by the end.
Her voice does the heavy lifting here, ragged and direct, the old Jerez tradition pushed into something that feels very much of now. The concert starts at 8.30pm and tickets run from 10 to 26 euros. If you have never sat through proper cante in a small theatre, this is a good place to start.
