Painting Exhibition: End-of-Course Show 2025-2026

Each June the local painting classes wrap up the year with a show of what their students have made, and the result hangs in the old stone tower on Plaza de España. It's an unfussy thing: a roomful of canvases by ordinary Adeje residents who've spent the winter learning their craft, with the usual mix of confident pieces and braver experiments. Worth a look as much for the building as the art, since the tower now works as a small heritage and art space right on the old town's main plaza.

If you're pottering around the square anyway, it's an easy ten minutes out of the sun. The opening evening tends to draw a friendly crowd, then it settles into quieter daytime viewing across the following week. Free to wander in, no commitment, no fuss.
