What's on in Adeje
Adeje is a municipality of two halves in south Tenerife: down on the coast sit the polished resorts of Costa Adeje, all promenades and hotels, while the old town climbs into the hills behind, leading up to the dramatic Barranco del Infierno gorge and the trailhead for the famous Masca descent.
It's lighter on big traditional fiestas than some Tenerife towns, so the calendar leans towards the outdoors and culture: a guided hike down the Masca gorge, the Taucho Ethnographic Days exploring old mountain water-life, Southern Pride, and local art shows. Here's what's on while you're here.
