Southern Pride, Family Pride 2026
Adeje's community Pride programme running through late June, closing with a family-friendly open-air celebration on Plaza Pedro Zerolo featuring creative and face-painting workshops, bracelet-making, cooking activities, drag performances and children's storytelling. Earlier dates include talks and a film forum (mostly in Spanish).
Adeje does Pride a little differently. Rather than one big parade, the town spreads things over ten days in late June, building to a relaxed afternoon on Plaza Pedro Zerolo on the 26th, roughly 5pm to 8pm. It's pitched squarely at families: kids loop friendship bracelets, daub on face paint, potter about at painting and craft stations, and there's a cooking activity plus inclusive storytelling for the little ones. A daytime drag performance keeps it playful without tipping into anything adult.
The earlier dates lean more thoughtful and are mostly in Spanish, so worth knowing if yours is shaky. There's an author chat at Casa Fuerte on the 17th, an art talk on the 23rd, and a film screening on the 25th. It's all free, and the closing afternoon is the easy one to drop into.
