What's on in Alcalalí

Alcalalí is a small inland village in the Jalón valley behind the northern Costa Blanca, surrounded by vineyards, almond and citrus groves with the mountains of the Sierra de Bernia close by. It's a quiet, Valencian-speaking place of a few hundred souls, built around a square and an old defensive tower, popular with walkers and cyclists and a world away from the coastal resorts twenty minutes downhill.

Local life centres on its fiestas: Feslalí, the village carob festival now in its tenth year, and the patron saint celebrations of Sant Joanet de Mosquera and the Crist de la Salut. Here's what's on while you're here.
