What's on in Castelló d'Empúries

Castelló d'Empúries is a medieval town set just inland on the Costa Brava, a former county capital with a great Gothic church often called the "cathedral of the Empordà". On the coast it includes Empuriabrava, a vast marina development laced with navigable canals, and it borders the Aiguamolls wetland nature reserve.

Down at Empuriabrava there's a summer night market, while the old town hosts the Sant Joan night of bonfire, concert and fireworks, the NOMAD festival, and a Mediterranean guitar concert. Here's what's on while you're here.
