What's on in Cubelles

Cubelles is a small coastal town on the Costa de Barcelona just past Vilanova i la Geltrú, where the river Foix reaches the sea. It has a quiet beach, a riverside nature spot good for birdwatching and an old centre set slightly inland around its castle. It's mostly a residential and local-holiday town rather than a tourist resort, with commuter trains to Barcelona and a calmer feel than its busier neighbours along the coast.

The town's main celebration is the Festa Major de Cubelles, and at midsummer the Revetlla de Sant Joan lights bonfires for the shortest night. The long-running Festa de la Bicicleta gets the whole town out on two wheels. Here's what's on while you're here.
